As part of our specialism we are dedicated to working with the community inside and outside of Welling School. We run workshops and projects for local Primary School children as well as teachers and other adults in the local area.

Over the past few years we have worked with several Primary Schools in Welling, including East Wickham, Barrington and Brampton Primary School, which has given us the chance to share the specialism with the wider community. In 2016 we worked with Barrington School to make a book of drawings as part of the Big Draw.

We also endeavour to share our teaching practice widely and in 2016 hosted a CPD session for local Primary School teachers.

Primary Colours

This is an after school visual arts club for young people in years 1 to 6. The art club, run by art teachers from Welling School, is a chance for children to experience a vast range of art materials and processes which are unlikely to be available in Primary Schools.

The sessions are in term time on Monday’s from 4 till 5.30pm and last for 10 weeks. Primary Colours is £50 for 10 sessions. Upcoming Primary Colour start dates for the 2016 – 2017 academic year are:

26th September 2016 – 5th December 2016

16th January 2016 – 27th March 2017

8th May – 17th July 2017
